1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using dadgames.com or the Dad Games web application (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform.

3. User Accounts

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

4. Community Standards

You agree NOT to:

  • Post unlawful content

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

  • Share explicit or obscene material

  • Upload content you do not own or have rights to

  • Impersonate another person

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate users at our discretion.

5. User-Generated Content License

By posting content, you grant Dad Games a:

  • Worldwide

  • Non-exclusive

  • Royalty-free

  • Perpetual license

To display, reproduce, distribute, promote, and use your content in connection with the Platform and its marketing.

You retain ownership of your content.

6. Competitions & Rewards

Game of the Day

  • Scores reset daily at 11:59 PM local time.

  • Winners are determined by system-recorded scores.

  • Dad Games reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify fraudulent activity.

Streak Rewards

  • Streaks require qualifying activity as defined on the Platform.

  • Rewards (e.g., hats, hoodies, Dad Boxes) are subject to availability.

  • Shipping may be limited to certain regions.

  • Dad Games may substitute rewards of equal or greater value.

Dad Games may modify or discontinue competitions at any time.

7. No Gambling

Competitions on the Platform are skill-based and are not games of chance.

8. AI Disclaimer

The "Ask Dad" feature:

  • Is informational only

  • Is not professional advice

  • May generate inaccurate responses

Use at your own discretion.

9. Mental Health Disclaimer

Dad Games does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.

In emergencies, call 911 or local emergency services.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (excluding user-generated content), including:

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Competition formats

  • Designs

  • Software code

  • Written materials

Are the property of Dad Games and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy or distribute such materials without permission.

11. Assumption of Risk

Participation in physical challenges or competitions involves inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Dad Games is not responsible for injuries resulting from participation.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dad Games shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Lost profits

  • Data loss

  • Emotional distress

  • Injuries arising from Platform use

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dad Games from claims arising out of:

  • Your content

  • Your misuse of the Platform

  • Your violation of these Terms

14. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Maryland.

You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
